The icon of the social networking site Clubhouse, which is gaining popularity even in Nepal, has recently changed. The new icon features a portrait of Dandara Pagu, a Brazilian social engineer.
Dandara is both a content creator and an engineer. She is speaking out in support of black women in particular. She is also involved in a number of anti-apartheid campaigns.
Previously, the clubhouse’s app icon featured a photo of Drew Kateoka, an Asian-American visual artist, technician, and social engineer.
On the cover of the app, there are photos of various people. Users of the Clubhouse app are the ones in question.
Clubhouse, in a tweet on its Twitter account, said, “Every time the app is updated, we will change the icon of the app. It’s a way of paying tribute to our members.”
